I know I have been quiet this week but it has been very busy in my world, juggling uni work, life and getting ready for my weekend away with friends. However it has been worth it as we have had such a good weekend. We have laughed and laughed all weekend, and in my mind, that’s what friends are for.
We haven’t done huge amounts, but we visited Stratford-upon-Avon on the way down and had lunch at a wonderful cafe The Pantry. We visited Cheltenham yesterday and we did some shopping (actually the other girls did, I don’t have much money at the minute with all the decorating going on). Retail therapy was just what we needed, and then back to our accomodation, a gorgeous 3 storey house in the grounds of a National Trust site, Croome for a very relaxed dinner, we had called at the supermarket on the way back and treated ourselves to lots of lovely bits, (olives, nice bread, hummous etc) and we had a tapas evening!
We have been for a walk today around the grounds of the National Trust site and got some fresh air before coming back and cooking a lovely sunday roast. It has been a dream weekend and I am already looking forward to the next one, whenever and wherever that may be.
